Bricktropolis 2019: What’s on

Bricktropolis has landed once again in Sheffield.

So why not take this year’s space theme to the next level with some out-of-this-world activities at The Light? And to make it even better, we’ll be raising money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital too!

From 17 to 29 August, we’ve got everything from LEGO building to slime making right here at the cinema.

Here’s what’s happening over the fortnight:

Build your own star

Time to get elbows deep in glitter.

All day, every day 17 - 29 August

Character costumes

Come and say hello to your favourite characters from The Lego Movie 2.

Space dough making

By whipping together just a few ingredients, you can create your very own stretchy squishy space dough. £3 per child.

Explore learning

There’s lightyears of stuff we can learn from the galaxy - catch just some of it at these free educational space sessions.

Rocket making

Create a rocket that’ll make NASA jealous using just a few bits and bobs. £3 per child.

Let master LEGO builders, Brightbox, show you how to make truly awesome robots for £15 a session.

Spotted any aliens hiding among the planets in our foyer?

Grab one of our monster-finder sheets and tick off the ones you see.

By the 29 August, leave it with some contact details in our box by the bar, leave a suggested donation of 50p for Sheffield Children’s Hospital and you could be in with the chance of winning some fab prizes.
